About Us
The Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a non-profit organization that has provided continuous emergency medical service to Dumont and its neighboring boroughs since 1937. The DVAC is in service 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and is staffed purely by dedicated, professionally trained volunteers who provide emergency care and transportation services completely free-of-charge.
The DVAC owns and operates two fully-equipped and regularly maintained ambulances, both of which are ready to respond to any emergency situation at a moment's notice. In addition to answering "911" calls, the DVAC also provides stand-by service at numerous events held in the town throughout the year.
